Democracy is like blowing your nose. You may not do it well, but it's something you ought to do yourself.—G.K. Chesterton There's no way around it — we need to show up and fill our role as faithful citizens. Fortunately, it's rewarding, fun, and transformational! Join Rebecca McIlwain, Project Manager for Texas Faith Votes at Texas Impact for a discussion of how, when and why faith communities are important civic engagement participants in today's political world. Time for interactive discussion with the speaker will be provided. This virtual event will use the WebEx platform. Registrants will receive a separate e-mail with WebEx connection details. All registrants will get a link to the recording of this talk. Contact Lisa Brenskelle at gcs.lrc@gmail.com with any questions.
